There's many electoral maps that I find really useful to understand what's going on and how this election is happening but this one has a little extra something: it lets the user "change" the way the state votes and see the outcome in the big picture of the election. It can also display a number of recent polls from a drop down menu and use those predictions to modify the map. I like this example because it's a great visualization and by adding the interactive layer it becomes much more interesting use of the information.
