I'm interest in tracking and visualizing how we experience different parts of the city. One project idea I have is to use heart rate or other input device to track our physiological response to our environment and create a cartography based on that. It would be neat to have a visual representation of the places that stress us out, the places where we are calm etc. I am particularly interested in the places where we might be surprised by the data-- like maybe when we go into the subway, we think we are cool, calm, and collected, but actually we are subliminally stressed out from the noise heat, crowd. I also think it would be kind of cool if, using this combo of physical and place tracking, some sort of game could emerge. I kind of like the idea of using our body as pieces on the game board of Manhattan. <br />
