This got a bit more intense when i lived on a boat for 2 years and used the log books to mark maps with the places we'd visited to then use them in videos. It changed our lives to go from putting pins on an actual map in the wall to getting internet on board and using Google Earth to monitor our route. Most of my projects at ITP have involved music and video in some form. I also like making dolls and toys and animation. I am mainly in this class because I am so out of the loop when it comes to Social Software - I'm not on Facebook or MySpace, I don't use Twitter or... whatever else is out there. I am not opposed to it or anything like that, I just do other things with my time. Nevertheless, ideas related to Social Software and location based technology keep popping in my head and I would like to use this class as a platform to test my ideas. My phone is a real piece of shit Sanyo that can't even receive text messages, and I will probably get a better one in a few days.
