New page

I got the chance to play the [http://www.waag.org/project/frequency Frequency 1550] game in '07, a location-based educational game in Amsterdam. It is almost like a cultural treasure hunt in that you are running around the city picking up different clues which then lead you to the next clue. It is created for students in Middle School, but my friends and I had a ton of fun playing this game and racing around the city almost like some Dan Brown characters. Without a doubt it is much more fun to learn about history by doing than by sitting in a stuffy room with a textbook.
