I think the biggest impact location services have had for me was when I was a consultant traveling for work. The company would send me all over the US to small towns that required sometimes hours of driving. This was around the time that NeverLost came out for Hertz, which I took full advantage of. Even though it had it's quirks, it saved me much time and headache while getting around in foreign lands.
