Yes, I have good experience regarding to Google map apps in iPhone. Recently, my friend invited me his home in New Jersey, and I had never been outside of NY State since last year I came here. My friend said “take a bus to NJ at port-authority terminal and ask driver to let you know when the bus get to Little Perry”, and “you will be able to find a big ‘Burger King’ sign just before the bus station, don’t worry about it.” However, I was kind of excited about ‘traveling’ (?) outside of Manhattan so I just kept looking elsewhere. Finally, I felt something is going wrong because the landscape looked a bit different from a residential area. I realized I missed the burger sign and also the driver didn’t tell me when I passed thorough it. After I took off the bus, I was extremely nervous because there were neither bus stations in opposite nor people to ask direction. My friend also got nervous and he started to explain how to get back toward his home. But I thought about iPhone Google map and it worked out. Due to the route functions on iPhone, it was just 25 minutes distance by foot. Eventually, I could safely arrive his home and enjoyed the short journey. Well, I know it sounds like a cheesy product advertisement but it really worked and I’m really appreciated to Steve Jobs :-( It would be better to show up burger king sign on the map though.
